1 General Provisions

1.1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities relating to the use of all versions of the Vantrix application ("App", "Service") on iOS, Android, and web platforms, developed and operated by Cureonics LLC ("Cureonics", "Company", "we").

By accessing the App, creating an account, or using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, you must not use the App.

1.2. Special Provision for Child Users

Vantrix is designed for individuals aged 10–17. A parent or legal guardian ("Parent") must accept these Terms for child users to use the App. By accepting these Terms on behalf of their child, the Parent confirms that the Terms are binding for both themselves and their child.

• Verifiable parental consent under COPPA is obtained for all users under 13.
• Legal representative consent under KVKK and Turkish Civil Code is required for all users under 18.
• The Parent accepts responsibility for supervising their child's use of the App.

2 Service Description

2.1. What is Vantrix?

Vantrix is a science-based, gamified focus and learning tool designed for teens aged 10–17 who have been diagnosed with or show symptoms of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The App offers the following core features:

• AI Task Decomposition: Breaking large tasks into small, manageable steps with AI assistance
• Smart Focus Timer: Pomodoro-based timers and breaks adapted for ADHD; white noise and focus music support
• Tangible Progress System: Visible feedback through XP, badges, and level-ups
• Virtual Study Rooms: DM-free, moderated, safe social study environment ("body doubling" effect)
• Parent Dashboard: Tools for tracking child progress, setting goals, and coaching

2.3. Service Availability

• The App is available on iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Cureonics does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Planned maintenance is announced in advance when possible.
• Cureonics reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service at any time.

3 Account Creation and Management

3.1. Account Requirements

• The App is intended for individuals aged 10 and above. Individuals under 10 cannot create an account.
• Account creation for child users is not activated until parental consent is completed.
• A valid email address or Google account is required to create an account.
• Each user may have only one active account.

3.2. Account Security

The User (or Parent) is responsible for account security:

• You must keep your password confidential and not share it with third parties.
• You must immediately notify [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You are responsible for all activities performed through your account (or your child's account).
• Cureonics reserves the right to temporarily suspend accounts in case of suspected security breaches.

3.3. Account Types

3.4. Account Deletion

• Users (or Parents) can delete their accounts at any time via Settings > Account > Delete Account or by written request to [email protected].
• All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
• Backup system data is destroyed within 30 days after main data deletion.
• Data subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., parental consent records) is retained for the applicable period.

4 Usage Rules

4.1. Acceptable Use

Users may use the App only for the following purposes:

• Managing personal focus and learning goals
• Using task planning and scheduling tools
• Participating in virtual study rooms to work with peers
• Tracking and supporting your child's progress as a parent

4.2. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or permanent termination:

General Prohibitions:

• Using the App for any illegal purpose
• Impersonating another person or providing false age information
• Attempting to bypass security mechanisms, reverse engineer, or modify the source code without authorization
• Actions aimed at damaging the App's infrastructure (DDoS, bots, automated scraping, etc.)
• Transferring, selling, or renting your account to another person

Social Environment (Virtual Study Rooms) Prohibitions:

• Bullying, insults, harassment, threats, or discriminatory behavior
• Sharing sexually explicit, violent, or inappropriate material
• Sharing personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, social media accounts)
• Sending spam, advertising, or commercial messages
• Attempting to redirect other users to platforms outside the App
• Consistently ignoring moderator warnings

Child Safety:

• Any form of abuse, grooming, or harmful behavior toward children is subject to a zero tolerance policy and is immediately reported to relevant law enforcement.
• Adults (except parents) creating or accessing child accounts is prohibited.

4.3. Moderation and Sanctions

All interactions in virtual study rooms are monitored by automatic content filters and human moderators. The following sanctions may be applied when rule violations are detected:

• Appeals against sanctions can be submitted to [email protected] within 15 days of notification.
• Cases threatening child safety are immediately reported to authorities regardless of the appeals process.

5 Intellectual Property Rights

5.1. Cureonics' Rights

All intellectual property rights over the following elements belong to Cureonics LLC:

• The Vantrix name, logo, design, and brand identity
• App interface design, visual elements, and icons
• Original software architecture and algorithms
• Scientific basis documents, research compilations, and methodology descriptions
• Educational content, coaching materials, and help documentation

5.2. Open Source Components

Vantrix is developed as open source with a transparency principle:

• Source code is accessible and reviewable under the applicable open source license terms.
• Community contributions are accepted under a Contributor License Agreement (CLA).
• The open source license does not grant rights to use the Vantrix brand and commercial identity.
• Open source license details are specified in the app's source code repository.

5.3. User Content

• Users retain rights over content they create through the App (tasks, notes, etc.).
• By using the App, the User grants Cureonics the right to process user content for providing and improving the Service.
• Cureonics never sells or licenses user content to third parties for commercial purposes.
• Anonymous and aggregate usage statistics may be used for Service improvement.

6 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services — Special Terms

6.1. AI Usage Scope

Vantrix uses AI technology for the following purposes:

• Breaking large tasks entered by the user into small, manageable subtasks
• Providing personalized learning recommendations based on user behavior
• Focus duration optimization and break timing suggestions

6.2. AI Limitations and Disclaimer

• AI-generated outputs are advisory in nature and not binding.
• AI does not provide medical, psychological, or educational diagnosis or treatment recommendations.
• The accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI outputs is not guaranteed.
• Users should evaluate AI recommendations at their own discretion and seek professional support when needed.
• AI does not make automated decisions with legal consequences on the child's life, education, or health.

6.3. AI and Data Usage

• Task inputs sent to AI are used solely for performing the relevant operation.
• Individual user data is not used for AI model training; only anonymized and aggregate data may be used.
• When third-party providers are used for AI services, they are subject to the conditions specified in the Privacy Policy.
• Users can disable AI features from app settings.

7 Payment and Subscription Terms

7.1. Free Service

Vantrix's core features are offered free of charge. Features available in the free tier are clearly indicated within the App.

7.2. Premium Features (If Applicable)

If premium (paid) features are offered in the future:

• Pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase.
• Payments will be processed through the relevant platform store (Google Play, App Store) or direct payment system.
• Subscription renewal and cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of purchase.
• The right of withdrawal within 14 days is preserved under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502.
• Purchases through child accounts are subject to parental consent.
• Platform stores' own refund policies also apply.

7.3. Ad-Free Experience

8 Privacy and Data Protection

All matters regarding the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of personal data are detailed in the Privacy Policy document.

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have also read and accepted the Privacy Policy.

Key privacy principles:

• COPPA, KVKK, and GDPR compliant protection for child data is provided.
• No user data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
• All data is stored and transferred encrypted.
• Parents have the right to view, correct, and delete their children's data.

9 Limitation of Liability

9.1. Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". Cureonics makes no express or implied warranties. Specifically:

• No guarantee is made that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• The accuracy, completeness, or ability of AI outputs to achieve a specific result is not guaranteed.
• No commitment is made that App usage will improve ADHD symptoms, increase academic performance, or produce any specific result.
• Availability of third-party services (Google OAuth, platform stores, etc.) is outside Cureonics' control.

9.2. Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Cureonics' liability for direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from App usage is limited.
• Cureonics' total liability cannot exceed the total amount paid by the user for the Service in the last 12 months (this amount is zero for free users).
• This limitation does not contravene Cureonics' gross negligence or willful misconduct, consumer rights, or mandatory legal rules in effect.

9.3. Indemnification

The User (or Parent) agrees to indemnify Cureonics and its employees against all claims, damages, and expenses arising from violation of these Terms or unlawful use of the App.

10 Third-Party Services and Links

10.1. Platform Stores

• The App is distributed through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• These platforms' own terms of use and privacy policies also apply.
• Payments made through platform stores are subject to the respective platform's terms.

10.2. External Links

• The App or website may contain links to third-party websites.
• Cureonics is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of these websites.
• Users acknowledge that they are subject to the terms of the respective site when navigating to third-party sites.

10.3. Google Authentication

• Sign in with Google option is provided.
• Google's own terms for this service apply.
• Cureonics receives only the minimum information necessary for authentication (email, profile name).

11 Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

11.1. Governing Law

• Users in Turkey: Laws of the Republic of Turkey apply. Consumer rights under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and related regulations are preserved.
• European Economic Area (EEA) users: Consumer protection legislation and GDPR provisions of the user's country apply.
• US users: Delaware state laws apply; however, COPPA and state child privacy laws apply in all cases.
• Other countries: Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the user's country are preserved.

11.2. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes are primarily aimed to be resolved amicably.
• Users can submit complaints to [email protected]; written response is provided within 30 days.
• Consumers in Turkey have the right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and consumer courts.
• EEA users can apply to the EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform (ODR).

11.3. Class Action Waiver (US)

US users agree to resolve disputes individually to the extent permitted by applicable law and waive class action rights. This waiver does not apply to cases involving child safety or COPPA violations.

12 Service Modification and Termination

12.1. Service Changes

Cureonics reserves the right to make changes regarding:

• Adding, modifying, or removing App features
• Updating the scope of services
• Making changes to technical infrastructure and technologies used

Significant changes are notified to users at least 30 days before taking effect. If changes affect child data processing, consent is re-obtained from parents.

12.2. Termination by User

Users can terminate the Service at any time by deleting their accounts. For the account deletion process, see Section 3.4.

12.3. Termination by Cureonics

Cureonics reserves the right to suspend or permanently close user accounts in the following cases:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspected illegal activity
• Behavior threatening child safety
• Attempts to damage the App's technical integrity
• Extended inactivity (more than 12 months — notification is provided beforehand)

12.4. Complete Service Termination

If Vantrix is completely discontinued:

• Users are notified at least 90 days in advance.
• Users are provided with the ability to export their data.
• All personal data is permanently deleted within 90 days of service termination.
• Data subject to legal retention obligations is exempt.

13 Force Majeure

Cureonics cannot be held responsible for service disruptions caused by reasons beyond its control (natural disasters, war, pandemic, government decisions, internet infrastructure failures, cyber attacks, power outages, etc.). In case of force majeure, Cureonics will make reasonable efforts to restore the service as soon as possible.

14 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, void, or unenforceable by a competent court or regulatory authority:

• The provision in question is severed only to the extent it is invalid.
• The remaining provisions of the Terms continue in full force and effect.
• The invalid provision is replaced with a valid provision closest to the parties' original intent.

15 Changes to Terms

Cureonics reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made:

• Updated Terms are published at vantrix.app/terms.
• All registered users (parents) are notified by email.
• A prominent notification is displayed within the App.
• Significant changes are announced at least 30 days before taking effect.
• Consent is re-obtained from parents for changes affecting child rights or data processing.
• Users who do not accept changes can leave the Service by deleting their accounts.
• Previous versions of the Terms are archived and kept accessible.
